Versipellis

One of the six realms in Eidolon.

The land of Versipellis is perhaps the most unique of all the realms in Eidolon.
Bare, pointed, and lengthy mountains reach towards the sky and keep watch over the realm, accompanied by floating islands scattered above. Vegetation is scarce, with only a few pine forests littered throughout the land. Black, starry water that seems to come from the Nothing itself has paved rivers in certain areas.
It seems as if it's almost always night here, though by no means does that make Versipellis a quiet land. Residents awaken at night and sleep during the day, only rarely spending time in daylight. Travelers and tourists are often surprised when they find lots of shops closed during the day, and are later awoken by the rowdiness of the night when the wereghouls starting their "mornings". Holidays and celebrations, such as Spirit's Eve, have been observed in this realm during full-moons.
