Designing an MYO

Ghoulhoods have specific features that are required for their design to be approved!
For this example, we'll use our mascot Patches.
Although Ghoulhoods come in multiple different subtypes, these 6 trait categories are almost universally required by all of them!

1. Hood

The hood on a Ghoulhood is what provides their magical abilities.
All headwear items and traits in the hood category are sown onto the Ghoulhood's body and cannot be removed or taken off.
It typically reflects something deeply connected to the Ghoul in their past life, or currently in their new life.

2. Body Species

Ghoulhoods can be feralanthro, or humanoid!
body species is required for all three.

3. Tail

All Ghoulhoods need a tail!
Having No Tail is an option, but it exists as a rare trait.

4. Fillings

Fillings are what allow Ghoulhoods to keep their desired form.
Many choose to have a combination of Common Fillings, such as cotton stuffing in the torso, and weighted beads in their hands and feet.
Aquaghouls require Air or Liquid fillings.

5. Tag

Tags keep a Ghoul's soul magically attached to the body.
Ghoulhoods often decorate their tags with the emblem of something they like or an icon that they feel represents themselves.

6. Zipper

Zippers and other types of closures allow Ghouls to change or restuff their bodies' fillings as needed.
Some Ghouls just like to use them for fashion.

Special Subtype Requirements

Although these 6 categories cover most of the required traits for a Ghoulhood, each subtype has its own requirements.
When making a Ghoulhood, please make sure to always refer to the Subtypes Page to see if you included the necessary traits.
