Welcome to Ghoulhoods!
If you'd like to join, you're in the right place! This guide is meant for newcomers and FTOs (First Time Owners).
You must be 16 years of age or older to sign-up.
Create an account
A Deviantart or Toyhouse account is required to sign up! We use these sites to verify your identity.
1. Register your account
We recommend using a similar username to your Deviantart or Toyhouse account for easy identification!
No NSFW or spaces are allowed.
2. Confirm your email
A verification email will be sent to your address - don't use a throwaway email, since this is the most reliable way to recover your account!
The email may take up to 10 minutes to send, so please be patient! Be sure that you've checked junk and spam folders.
If 24 hours have passed and you didn't originally use a gmail address, try again using a gmail account.
3. Connect your Deviantart or Toyhouse account
Log in and navigate to your settings. The site will prompt you to verify using one of the two websites.
If you have an existing character already on-site, be sure to use the same account as the one linked to the masterlist entry.
If you are missing characters, items, or currency, please submit a claim to get it corrected!
URL or SUBJECT: Title the claim "Missing [items/currency/characters]"
Comments: "I recently joined the website, and these are all my missing items, currency, and characters: [list and provide screenshot proof]"

Getting a Character
There are many ways to obtain a Ghoulhood!
If you've never owned a Ghoulhood, you're an FTO (First Time Owner)!
This means that you can get a free FTO ticket! The ticket will allow you to make a Common Ghoul.
If you're not an FTO, you can view the following options instead!
Obtain an MYO
Purchase A Design
We make announcements about new adopts in the Sales tab, our Discord Server, and our Toyhouse World!
Adopt or Trade
Get a pre-loved Ghoulhood from the Adoption Center or a trade in the Discord!
Raffles & Events
Purchase An MYO
If none of the other options sounded appealing, or you'd prefer not to wait for one of them to happen, you can always purchase an MYO with real currency! Currently this option is still being set up. Sorry!
Making a Character
With your shiny new MYO slot, it's time to make your character!
Our MYO Guide is a helpful resource for any player creating a new character.
If you'd like to see what traits a Ghoulhood can have first, take a look at our Visual Trait Index!
Once you've created the design, you'll have to submit it for approval.
1. Go to your MYO slot page
You can visit your MYO slot page here!
It's located under Home in the navigation bar at the top of the site.
2. Select your MYO slot
You can pick from any MYO slot you have available for this process.
Once you've chosen, click the Submit MYO Design button on the left.
3. Create an MYO approval request
Every tab in the submission must be filled out in order for it to be submitted. Please be sure to include any trait items you may require!
If your design conflicts with an existing trait or doesn't meet a certain requirement, it may be rejected and kicked back to you! This is nothing to worry about, as you can just correct that aspect of the design and resubmit it for approval afterwards.
4. Stare at your new Ghoul
Congratulations! You now have a new Ghoulhoods character.
From here on out, you can use them in Prompts, Art Submissions, and other activities around the site!
